Privacy Policy
This is my personal professional website. I want to be plain about what it collects and what it does not.
What this site does not collect
This site never collects health information. It does not ask about your medical history, medications, allergies, conditions, pregnancy status, prior procedures, or anything similar, and it does not accept photographs of you. Any medical intake happens inside the practice's own secure system, in person — never here.
What I do collect
When you fill out a form, I collect only what the form asks for: your first and last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, what you're interested in (from a fixed list of service names), how you heard about me, and, where offered, a preferred time to talk. You choose what to share.
If you consent to analytics (see below), I also collect standard, non-identifying usage data such as which pages were viewed, the type of device and browser, and the site that referred you.
Where your information goes
Form submissions are sent to and stored in HubSpot (portal 22023986), the customer-relationship tool I use to keep track of the people I've spoken with and to send email I've been given permission to send. HubSpot processes this data on my behalf; their handling is governed by their own privacy terms.
Cookies, analytics, and ad pixels
No non-essential tracking runs unless you accept it. When the site loads, you'll see a banner that defaults to tracking off. Only if you choose "Accept" will the site load:
- HubSpot analytics — to understand how people find and move through the site, and to connect a form submission to a visit.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) — an advertising pixel that helps measure and reach people through Meta's platforms.
If you decline, none of these load and the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the banner back.
Your choices, including deletion
You can ask me to show you what I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@katchapmanrn.com and I'll take care of it. You can unsubscribe from any email I send using the link in that email.
