Temple treatment is done under the supervision of a medical director. I'm the licensed RN doing the injection, and I follow physician-directed protocols. My medical director has 23 years of practice and about 12 years in aesthetics. You can look up my license on the North Carolina Board of Nursing site.
Temples are easy to overlook. When they hollow, the top of the face can look narrower and more tired, and cheek filler alone won't fix that. Sometimes a little support at the temples does more for a tired look than anything lower down.
The temples aren't on the list of uses on the FDA's dermal filler page, so temple filler is an off-label use. I'd rather you know that before we start.
I'll tell you which product I'd use for your temples at the consult. If it's HA filler, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Sculptra and Radiesse can't be. That difference matters when we pick one.
The FDA calls filler getting into a blood vessel the most concerning risk of dermal fillers. The chance is low, but it can cause tissue death, vision problems including blindness, or stroke. I wrote a full explainer on what a vascular occlusion is, with the warning signs and the treatment steps.

Most people feel pressure and some pinches. Some fillers contain lidocaine, a numbing medicine.
Some swelling and a possible bruise for a few days. Most people go back to their day.
The FDA says how long a filler lasts depends on the filler material and where it's injected, and that absorbable fillers break down over time, so the treatment may need repeating.
I look at your whole upper face, temples, brows, and cheeks together, and tell you whether the temples are actually the issue. Then you get a plan and a price.
