Lip filler in Mooresville, NC with me, Kat Chapman, BSN, RN, uses hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, and HA fillers are reversible, which is part of why I use them. That's a safety net, though, not a plan. The plan is a conservative amount placed well the first time, checked together at two weeks.

I don't have a Mooresville office. Your visit is at Canvas & Glow on Sam Furr Road in Huntersville. I work there; I don't own it. Call or text (704) 584-9785.

Every treatment I do at Canvas & Glow is done under the supervision of a medical director. I'm the licensed RN doing the injection, following physician-directed protocols. My medical director has 23 years of practice and about 12 years in aesthetics. You can look up my license on the North Carolina Board of Nursing site.
HA filler can usually be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if it ever needs to come out. That's a real comfort, and it's one reason I use HA for lips. But dissolving is a procedure with its own risks, so I don't treat it as an undo button.
What that means in the chair: I place a conservative amount, stop, and let it settle. At your two-week follow-up we look at it together. If you want more, we add it then. If something needs adjusting, I do it at no charge.
Lip filler is priced per syringe and quoted at your free consult. I don't post filler dollar amounts that aren't on the menu. Lips are often a small amount, and you get a specific number before anything is booked. Financing through Cherry and CareCredit is available for treatment plans. The pricing page shows how each treatment is priced.
Lips are sensitive, but numbing cream goes on first and some fillers already contain lidocaine, a numbing medicine. Most people feel pressure and some pinching. We can pause whenever you need to.
Plan on a few days of swelling and the chance of a bruise. The FDA lists both among the most common filler side effects and says many clear up within days to weeks. Swelling can last a few days, and the settled result shows at your two-week follow-up. Most people go back to work the same day.
Coming from Mooresville, it's easiest to book the follow-up when you book the treatment. If there's an event on your calendar, leave at least two weeks.
The FDA says how long a filler lasts depends on the filler material and where it's injected, and that absorbable fillers break down over time, so the treatment may need repeating. I give you a realistic range at your consult instead of a number on a webpage.
We start with what you want changed: more volume, a sharper border, evening out the top and bottom, or softening lines. I look at your lips at rest, when you talk, and when you smile, go over your health history, and agree on a plan and a price before I pick up a needle.
If what bothers you is the top lip disappearing when you smile, a lip flip may fit better than filler. For other areas, start with dermal filler in Huntersville.
The FDA's page on dermal fillers explains the risks. Wait, or bring it up at your consult, if:
The most serious risk is filler getting into a blood vessel. The FDA calls that chance low, but it can cause tissue damage, vision problems including blindness, or stroke. Get care right away for unusual pain, any change in your vision, or skin near the injection site that turns white, gray, or blue.
I can't tell you how many syringes you need or exactly how long yours will last before I've seen your lips. For Botox, see Botox in Mooresville. For a whole-face plan, see facial balancing in Mooresville, or the services page.
