Every treatment at Canvas & Glow is done under the supervision of a medical director. I'm the licensed RN doing the injection, and my medical director is a physician with 23 years of practice and about 12 years in aesthetics. The oversight is the same whichever town you drove in from.
No marina, no boat call. Most Lake Norman patients come to the studio at Canvas & Glow on Sam Furr Road in Huntersville. The stretch I cover is roughly seven miles: Birkdale, Northstone, Skybrook, Cornelius, Davidson, and the shoreline.
I live in Birkdale and walk to Birkdale Village most weeks, for CAVA, Sweetgreen, Shake Shack, Green Brothers, eeZ, or Suffolk Punch Brewing. That's my corner of the lake, and it's why this page starts there instead of a stock photo of the water.

Most people call it a quick pinch, and studio visits usually run 20 to 30 minutes. There's no real downtime. A small bump, redness, or a bruise at an injection site is possible. I go over aftercare before you leave, so ask then if you've got plans on the lake that afternoon.
Expect a change in the first few days and a settled result at about two weeks.
