Every treatment at Canvas & Glow is done under the supervision of a medical director. I'm the licensed RN doing the injection, and my medical director is a physician with 23 years of practice and about 12 years in aesthetics. The oversight is the same whichever town you drove in from.
Cornelius sits between Huntersville and Davidson on the lake. I live in Birkdale, and the room I work in is Canvas & Glow on Sam Furr Road in Huntersville. If you're in Cornelius, that's where your appointment is. It's inside the roughly seven miles I cover.
This isn't the Huntersville page with the town name swapped. The treatment is the same one I give everyone. What's different for you is the drive and the planning around two visits: the first one and the check at two weeks.
Every neurotoxin I carry is $13 per unit, Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, and Letybo alike. Living in Cornelius doesn't change the price. These typical ranges come from my pricing page:
| Treatment area | Typical units | Estimated cost at $13/unit |
|---|---|---|
| Forehead lines | 10 to 20 units | $130 to $260 |
| Frown lines (11s) | 20 to 25 units | $260 to $325 |
| Crow's feet | 10 to 15 units | $130 to $195 |
| Brow lift | 4 to 8 units | $52 to $104 |
| Bunny lines | 4 to 6 units | $52 to $78 |
| Lip flip | 4 to 6 units | $52 to $78 |
| Full face | 40 to 60 units | $520 to $780 |
Those are averages. Your count depends on your muscles and how much movement you want to keep, and I confirm it at the free consult. For a longer explanation, see Botox cost in Huntersville.
Most people call it a quick pinch. The needles are very fine and the injections take minutes. Most visits run 20 to 30 minutes, and the bulk of that is talking.
You'll usually notice a change within the first few days, and it's settled at about two weeks. MedlinePlus notes that cosmetic Botox for frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet may be repeated every 3 to 4 months, depending on how long the effect lasts. I won't promise a number for your face.
There's no real downtime. Small bumps or redness where the needle went in fade quickly, and a bruise is possible. Most people drive home and carry on with the day. If you have an event coming up, book two weeks or more ahead so the result has settled.
We talk before anything else. I watch your forehead, the 11s, and the corners of your eyes while you talk and while you're relaxed, and we agree on a plan. I dose on the light side, because adding a few units at two weeks is easy and taking them back isn't possible. At the follow-up I check the result and adjust at no charge.
Botox and Dysport are prescription drugs. MedlinePlus summarizes the patient information for onabotulinumtoxinA (Botox) and abobotulinumtoxinA (Dysport). Tell me at your consult if any of these apply:
You can check my nursing license on the North Carolina Board of Nursing site. The CDC's page on botulinum toxin injections explains why licensed providers and real product matter.
I can't tell you your unit count or exactly how long it will last until I've watched your face move. That's what the free consult is for. Everything else I offer is on the services page.
