Every treatment at Canvas & Glow is done under the supervision of a medical director. I'm the licensed RN doing the injection, and my medical director is a physician with 23 years of practice and about 12 years in aesthetics. The oversight is the same whichever town you drove in from.
Every Botox treatment with me includes a follow-up at two weeks. That's when the result has settled and I can see what needs a touch more. Coming from Davidson, it helps to put both dates on your calendar when you book the first one.
The two-week mark matters for events too. If you have a wedding, a reunion, or photos coming up, count back at least two weeks and book from there.

Expect a quick pinch from very fine needles. Most visits run 20 to 30 minutes. There's no real downtime, so you can drive back to Davidson and get on with your day. A small bump, some redness, or a bruise at an injection site is possible.
A change usually shows within the first few days and settles at about two weeks. MedlinePlus notes that cosmetic Botox for frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet may be repeated every 3 to 4 months, depending on how long the effect lasts. Your own timing may differ, and we'll talk about it at the follow-up.
It starts with a conversation. I watch how your face moves and we agree on a plan before I pick up a needle. I dose conservatively. Adding at two weeks is simple; removing isn't possible. If something needs adjusting at the follow-up, I do it at no charge.
Botox and Dysport are prescription drugs. MedlinePlus summarizes the patient information for onabotulinumtoxinA (Botox) and abobotulinumtoxinA (Dysport). Tell me at your consult if:
The FDA prescribing information for Botox Cosmetic lists side effects such as eyelid or brow drooping and headache. My license is on the North Carolina Board of Nursing site if you want to check it.
I can't give you a unit count or a guaranteed duration from a webpage. Both depend on your muscles. For everything else I offer, see the services page.
